Heritage Hall Teas go down a treat!
I think the dedicated team from the theatre club should just about have recovered now after the weekend of baking and serving the teas at the Peterculter Heritage Hall, to raise funds for the club's sound and lighting project.
We had some wonderful baking done by volunteers from the club - and we kept it coming to feed all the visitors to the hall on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We had a display of photographs from some of our past panto's and performances, plus we had our leaflets out again to spread the word about the Theatre Club and how people can get involved. We were also able to run a bottle stall on Sunday afternoon too - so quite a few people went away with a prize or two as well as having their tea and cake!
So a great big THANK YOU to all our wonderful supporters, club members and the visitors who came along and enjoyed a cup of tea and a fine piece with us. We managed to raise an absolutely wonderful £622.30 - which really means a lot and goes a long way to helping pay for the new equipment we're buying and installing as part of our sound and lighting "modernisation" project. Rest assured, if you come along to the panto this Christmas you'll be able to see a lot of the new equipment in action - it promises to be something very special indeed!
